Welcome to HALDANE FACULTY ASSOCIATION
On behalf of the officers and members of the Haldane Faculty Association, we welcome you. Our Association is made up of Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Currently, we are made up of 86 active members and 25 retirees. Below is some information about our union and the services that are offered to our members.
We are a local union which is part of New York State of United Teachers (NYSUT). NYSUT is a federation of more than 1200 local unions, each representing its own members. We are also affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA). NYSUT is also part of the AFL-CIO-and of Education International, with more than 20 million member’s world wide. You can find out more about NYSUT at www.NYSUT.org .

Mark Villanti takes over reigns as Superintendent
While Haldane students still savor the joyous sound of the final school bell, school board trustees and administrators are already getting their house in order for the next time that bell rings early in September to mark the beginning of the 2007/08 school year.
